1940 Ford Coupe...SOLD
This car is as nice as the pictures make it appear.
Starting with its beautiful red jewel tint metallic paint, this flawless paint job turns heads at every corner. This is an all steel car build by Henry Ford meaning there is no after market steel.Displaying Billet Specialties wheels with custom shaved tires in the front and back.
Moving to the engine compartment, we have a 350 cubic inch engine with a FULLY polished Inglese intake system with FAST fuel injections. Up front is a polished Concept 1 serpentine system with all new components featuring custom Candy Hose covers and loads of polished aluminum thought out the engine, including a 240 AMP alternator, power steering pump and AC compressor.
Under the car is just as nice with a recently rebuilt turbo 350 painted to match the car, with a heavy duty clutch pack and new aluminum transmission pan.
Wilwood disc brakes are installed in the front and back (two piston front brakes and four piston rear brakes with drilled and slotted rotors all around). To assist those big calipers is a power brake unit with a vacuum pump. Moving onto the suspension, this 1940 beauty features Heidts Front suspension, Chassis Engineering in the rear suspension, custom rear sway bar, polished stainless steel exhaust, and 9'' ford rear to finish off the undercarriage.
To top it all of, if it was not polished, it was painted to match the car.
Now lets look at where you'll be spending most of your time, the interior. Featuring leather seats that sit on top of Porsche high density carpeting with full classic industries gauges and custom AC vents. Lets not forget the IDIDIT column. Everything from the clock to the AC works perfectly.
For your listening pleasure we have installed Alpine CDE-HD 149 BT with AM/FM CD/HD, Bluetooth audio, and IPod. The front speakers are Morel Supremo602 with custom tweeter housing and mid bass housing in the kick panels. The rear speakers are Moel 38 Anniversary limited edition LE 602, again with separate tweeters and mid bass woofers installed on the custom rear deck. Audison TH Quattro 4 channel amp powers the front and rear Morel speakers and a Audison UNO mono amp powers the NMOrel Ultimo 104 subwoofer. Finally, a Hirschmann Power antenna to finish off custom LED lighting on ground effects and trunk area.
I dare you to find a nicer 1940 Ford than this one.
